College Grant and Scholarship Information

Here are some common definitions that might help you in your search for College Grants and/or Scholarships

Pell Grant – A Pell Grant is a post-secondary educational Federal Grant sponsored by the United States Department of Education.  Pell Grants typically do not have to be paid back.

Scholarship – A scholarship is an award of FINANCIAL AID for a student to further education. Scholarships are awarded on various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award.
